Cookie Policy

Our cookie policy and how we use them

Last updated: 2026-05-24

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They help the site remember information about your visit, such as whether you are signed in, so that you do not have to re-enter it on every page.

Similar technologies such as local storage and session storage work on the same principle. This policy covers all such technologies.

2. Categories of Cookies We Set

Essential (Required)

These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. Without them, features like signing in and maintaining your session would not work.

  • Authentication session cookie: Set by Supabase Auth when you sign in. Stores your encrypted session token so you remain logged in across page loads. Expires at the end of your session or after a fixed period, whichever is shorter.
  • CSRF protection cookie: A short-lived token used to validate form submissions and prevent cross-site request forgery attacks.
  • OAuth state cookie: A temporary, single-use cookie set during the OAuth flow when you connect a third-party account (Slack, Google, etc.). It is deleted immediately after the OAuth callback completes.

Functional (Optional)

These cookies enhance your experience but are not strictly required for the Service to operate.

  • Theme preference: Stores your light/dark mode preference so it is applied on your next visit without requiring a sign-in.

Analytics (Not currently set)

We do not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, seek your consent before placing those cookies.

3. Third-Party Cookies

We do not currently embed third-party scripts or widgets that set their own cookies. Our payment processor (Stripe) may set cookies on their own domain during the checkout flow, but these are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy, not ours.

4. How to Control or Disable Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View and delete cookies that have already been set
  • Block all cookies or cookies from specific sites
  • Set your browser to alert you when a cookie is being placed

Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Apple Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

Please note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from signing in and using core features of the Service.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
